Peaframes or plant supports and hurdles.

As those climbing plants such as sweet pea, clematis or perhaps vegetables like mange tout or even runner bean are starting to grow, what better climbing frame to give them than a homemade pea frame or plant support. Once these simple techniques have been mastered the materials are easily found in garden or hedgerow to repeat as often as you like, creating a useful climbing frame for edible or ornamental plants. In the afternoon we aim to weave a small low hurdle to edge beds with or make a circular hurdle for planting into. From 10am -4pm., Some work outside if weather is suitable so please bring warm clothing and book early to avoid disapointment.

A delicious homemade lunch is included in the price of each workshop along with copious quantities of tea, coffee and homemade cake and biscuits. Please book with Carymoor either by phone Francis or Julia on 01963350143 or visit the Carymoor website to find out more and e-mail  www.carymoor.org.uk
